Razorback Trail Flyover Bridge – NE A Street
Bentonville, AR
Due to the ongoing expansion to Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Razorback Regional Greenway needed to be rerouted to the north side of NE A Street. The new route was designed to be a 125-foot-long, two-span, architecturally enhanced bridge structure with a cast-in-place concrete deck on structural steel girders on a cast-in-place concrete drilled pier foundation. The bridge will carry a 6-foot-wide mountain bike path and a separate 12-foot-wide multi-use path. The elevated trail is approximately 850 feet of precast concrete panel deck on structural steel tube sections on cast-in-place concrete columns and spread footings on micropiles. The Owner chose the CMAR delivery method to fast track the project and ensure constructability of this unique bridge structure.
