Crossland Ranked #9 Among North Texas’ Largest General Contractors

July 1, 2026 | 4 minute read

A group of people in hard hats and vests stand at a construction site with cranes, overlaid by a red box stating "Ranked #9 Largest General Contractors in North Texas - 2026 - Crossland" by Dallas Business Journal.

Texas keeps growing, and Crossland is growing with it.

Crossland Construction was recently ranked #9 on the Dallas Business Journal’s 2026 list of the largest general contractors in North Texas. The list ranks firms by 2025 local revenue and includes general contractors working across the North Texas region.

For Crossland, the numbers tell part of the story.

In 2025, our Texas team reported $736.78 million in local revenue, 6.07 million square feet developed locally, and 245 local employees helping move projects forward across the region.

But the better story is how we got here.

Nearly 30 Years of Building in Texas

Crossland’s Texas story did not happen overnight.

We are approaching nearly 30 years of building in Texas, and a lot has changed since those early days. The markets are bigger. The projects are more complex. The communities are growing faster. The team has grown, too.

But the way we do business has stayed consistent.

Build strong relationships. Solve problems early. Deliver quality work. Create a better building experience. And stand behind what we say.

That approach has helped Crossland grow from one Texas office to a larger presence across the state, with offices in Prosper, Fort Worth, and now San Marcos.

The new San Marcos office is an important next step. Located between Austin and San Antonio, it gives Crossland a stronger presence in one of Texas’s fastest-growing corridors and allows our team to better serve clients across Central Texas.

A Goal Reached Ahead of Schedule

In 2020, Crossland’s Texas Division set a clear goal: become one of the Top 10 General Contractors in Dallas-Fort Worth by 2030.

The team reached that goal years early.

That kind of momentum takes more than one big project or one good year. It takes repeat clients. Strong trade partners. Smart preconstruction. Safe jobsites. Field teams that know how to get things done. Project teams that keep pushing when the work gets complicated.

It takes people who care about the details.

Recent Projects Across Texas

One of the best parts of Crossland’s Texas growth is the variety of work our teams are building.

In Fort Worth, Crossland completed Alliance Hyundai, a modern dealership built on a 22-acre site. The project includes a rooftop vehicle display, 33 maintenance bays, an on-site car wash, curtain wall glazing, metal panels, and other high-end features that give the facility a polished, future-focused look.

In Frisco, Crossland helped bring Rollertown Brewery to life. The project turned a vacant site into a new destination for craft beer, food, live music, and community events. With a production brewery, two-level taproom, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and a year-round event lawn, Rollertown adds a new kind of energy to Frisco’s Rail District.

In Melissa, Crossland has had a front-row seat to one of the fastest-growing communities in North Texas. Over the past few years, our team has delivered several projects that support that growth, including the Melissa Public Safety Building, Melissa Middle School, Melissa High School additions, and the incredible Coach Kenny Deel Stadium, to name a few.

Crossland has also continued to build large-scale industrial projects across the region. At the Intermodal Logistics Center in Fort Worth, the team completed nearly three million square feet of industrial space across three tilt-wall facilities for NorthPoint Development.

Different projects. Different clients. Different challenges.

Same Crossland approach.

The Work Behind the Ranking

Rankings are worth celebrating. They show progress. They show growth. They show that clients continue to trust our team with important work.

But rankings are only as strong as the people behind the work.

They represent the crews, project teams, trade partners, and clients who help move each project forward. They represent early mornings, hard decisions, tight schedules, creative solutions, and the commitment to doing the job right.

That is what this ranking represents.

Nearly 30 years in Texas. Three offices. Hundreds of local employees and partners. Millions of square feet built. And a team that is still hungry for what comes next.

We are proud to be ranked among North Texas’ largest general contractors.

More than that, we are proud of the people who continue to build Crossland’s Texas story.
