Crossland Heavy’s Arkansas Division began with the goal of providing top-notch civil and industrial building services to the rapidly growing NWA region. Our sister company, Crossland Construction, had been building in the area for several years and utilized Crossland Heavy’s utility expertise on some of their larger projects. This provided us with the perfect opportunity to open our own office in Arkansas in 2000.
In 2005, we were hired for a $7 million civil package on the Pinnacle Hills Promenade project. At the time, this was by far our largest project in the region. It established us as a reputable contractor in the area, and since then, we’ve continued to grow and expand our services. We’re proud to be a trusted partner for many cities and clients in the area.

Ron Edmond
Arkansas Division Manager
Meet Ron, our Arkansas Division Manager. Ron has over 12 years of unwavering dedication to Crossland Heavy and has climbed the ranks over the past decade.
He began his journey into construction as a general laborer in 2003, and his passion for construction was evident from the start. After pursuing higher education, Ron rejoined Crossland Heavy in 2012 as an Assistant Project Manager, overseeing one of our largest projects at the time, Broken Arrow WTP.
Throughout his career, Ron’s resilience and ability to thrive in demanding situations have solidified his reputation as a leader who never backs down from a challenge. Ron brings profound building knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a sincere commitment to the success and growth of his team.
