Home2 Suites is an all-suite extended-stay line of hotels from the Hilton brand, featuring contemporary and stylish guest rooms for the value-conscious traveler. Hilton hired Crossland to build a new Home2Suites in Asheville, North Carolina, within proximity to the airport and uniquely spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Most Home2 Suite hotels follow a standard layout and design model, and this building was no exception. It was built as a five-story, 112-room structure with wood frame construction. Exterior features include a wooden trellis at the porte-cochère, stamped and stained concrete at the entry, and decorative, full-height uplighting with glassed-in light on the roof.
Guests at the Home2 Suites will enjoy a large, heated indoor pool and a 4,200 SF open lobby area called The Oasis, including a guest kitchen and pantry. A contemporary fitness center is also available. Each room features a full kitchen and stylish design and architecture.
