OKC Logistics Park Buildings 1 & 2
New Distribution Hub for Sam’s Club at OKC Logistics Park
Oklahoma City, OK
In 2023, Sam’s Club expanded its Oklahoma presence with the opening of a new distribution center at the OKC Logistics Park – one of the state’s newest and fastest-growing industrial developments. As Oklahoma’s largest employer, the company’s latest addition continues to boost the region’s logistics and warehousing footprint.
Construction began in February 2022 on the park’s first two buildings, totaling approximately 800,000 SF of leasable space. The project was delivered under a $49 million contract and featured typical warehouse shell components, including painted tilt-wall panels, steel canopies, and storefront entrances. Interior finishes included polished concrete with Ashford sealer and white-boxed pump rooms for utility functionality.
The project faced significant delays due to subcontractor utility failures and last-minute tenant-specific customization needs for Building One. Despite these challenges, the team maintained momentum through strategic planning, rapid response, and proactive weather mitigation during winter months. These efforts ensured the buildings were turned over on schedule – ready for Sam’s Club’s operational build-out.
Serving as both the shell builder and the partner for tenant infill, Crossland streamlined the transition for the end-user by minimizing coordination gaps and accelerating project timelines. This full-service delivery model allowed for greater continuity, quality control, and a smoother experience for the owner and tenant alike.
