New Century, KS
Crossland Heavy Contractors self-performed 75% of the work for the New Century Air Water Treatment Plant project and was able to achieve an on-time completion to provide the owner with the increased capacity they needed exactly when they needed it. Crossland Heavy also completed modifications to the existing Administration Building, which included demolition of the existing aeration blowers, installation of 5 new turbo centrifugal aeration blowers and their associated piping, demolition of existing urea/sodium nitrate feed system, phosphoric acid feed pumps, and existing aluminum feed pumps, construction of a new chemical feed system, and the installation of new sodium nitrate, phosphoric acid, and alum feed pumps and all the associated piping and valves.
