Lake Fayetteville Softball Complex
Fayetteville, AR
The City of Fayetteville chose Crossland Heavy as their Construction Manager for their Lake Fayetteville Softball Complex renovation. The three softball fields were constructed by 1981 and hadn’t been renovated in over 20 years. The City chose to procure this project as a Construction Management at Risk project so they could work collaboratively with the engineer and the construction manager to maximize their scope within the limitations of their budget. Astroturf was a priority of this project to improve the field conditions and their longevity. We completed the turf installation as well as constructing new walkways, scoreboards, fencing, and landscaping to beautify the park. Crossland Heavy completed this project over a construction period of just over 10 months with the help of the Northwest Arkansas construction community. Together the construction team completed the project in time for the fall softball season, providing three beautiful fields for Fayetteville’s growing softball community to enjoy.
