Firelake Casino Elevates Gaming Experience for CPN

Crossland Construction proudly completed the new CPN Firelake Casino in Shawnee, Oklahoma, delivering a state-of-the-art gaming facility that combines luxury amenities with innovative design. The 48,666 SF casino sits on 8.6 acres and features distinct zones including front-of-house entrances, a dynamic gaming floor, and comprehensive back-of-house facilities.

The gaming floor represents the heart of the project, showcasing a signature circular bar surrounded by screens and TVs, alongside specialized areas like the highrollers room. Multiple drink stations positioned strategically throughout enhance the guest experience, while wall-mounted displays and suspended screens create an immersive entertainment environment.

Beyond gaming, the facility houses administrative offices, conference rooms, a bistro with kitchen facilities, and thoughtfully designed support spaces. The exterior features an impressive blend of stone masonry, EIFS, and distinctive metal wall panels, with main entrances highlighted by wood-like metal soffit panels and automatic sliding doors set in curtain walls.

Interior finishes elevate the atmosphere with custom elements including acrylic ceilings with specialty lighting in the highrollers area and center bar. The project incorporated several technical innovations, including specialized access flooring in the gaming area, pre-action fire suppression, and clean agent systems.

Despite facing challenges with suppliers and design modifications, Crossland’s team demonstrated problem-solving excellence, even assisting the owner with concrete production during winter months and stepping in to complete earthwork when weather delays threatened the schedule. This collaborative approach culminated in a successful ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 27, 2025.
