The Dallas Business Journal has just released its 2025 list of Top General Contractors in North Texas, and once again, Crossland Construction’s Texas Division has secured a spot among the region’s elite—Ranking #8.
Back in 2020, our Texas division set a bold target: break into the Top 10 General Contractors in DFW by 2030. Thanks to smart growth, hard work, and a people-first mindset, we reached that goal six years early.
This recognition reflects the unwavering grit, passion, and progress of our Texas teams. Moving up two spots from last year, we’re proud to say: We’re not just keeping up, we’re standing out.
Staying the Course and Raising the Bar
“We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue building high-quality, high-impact spaces that serve communities across North Texas and beyond,” stated Rocky Hussman, President of Crossland’s Texas Region. “Every project is a chance to create something meaningful—for our clients, for the people who will use these spaces, and for the communities we call home.”
Key Projects Texas Wrapped Up in 2024
“We’re thankful for the trust our clients placed in us last year. Every project we delivered was a team effort, and a chance to solve problems, create value, and make a lasting impact in the communities we serve,” stated Derek Kloer, Fort Worth Division Manager.
Our Fort Worth Regional Office delivered several major industrial projects in 2024, including Green Bay Packaging, the Knauf Insulation Facility, and over three million square feet of ILC buildings for NorthPoint Development.
Our Prosper/Collin County Office delivered a diverse mix of projects across all market sectors—from the Stephenville ISD Football Stadium and churches like St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and Prince of Peace, to multiple fire stations, the District 121 Retail and Park development, and municipal work for the cities of Princeton, McKinney, Frisco, Celina, Anna, and more.
What’s Ahead
We’ve got momentum, and we’re not slowing down. Several exciting projects are already underway or on the horizon for 2025, including the highly anticipated Harold Simmons Park in Dallas.
April 8th, 2025, marked a milestone as we broke ground on this transformative project, a multi-million dollar green space set to redefine connection and community in the heart of Dallas. The ceremony brought together city officials, civic leaders, community advocates, and project partners, all united by a shared vision: to create something more than a park, a space that brings people together from every corner of Dallas and North Texas.
More Than Metrics
For us, this ranking isn’t just about numbers, it’s about the relationships we’ve built, the trust we’ve earned, and the communities we’ve had the privilege to serve.
Since day one, our Texas Division has been built on grit, accountability, and heart. Those values show up in how we treat our clients, how we show up for our team, and how we stay grounded in doing the right thing, even when no one’s watching. That’s what continues to set us apart.
Let’s Build So Much More—Together
Whether it’s a big industrial job, a small-town fire station, or a retail project in the heart of the city, we show up with the same mindset—do great work, stay true to our word, and build something we’re all proud of.
