Crossland Colorado Earns CHASE Blue Level — The Highest Standard in Jobsite Safety

July 18, 2025 | 2 minute read

We’re proud to announce that our Colorado Division has officially reached the Blue Level within the Construction Health and Safety Excellence (CHASE) partnership program—a joint initiative between the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Colorado and Federal OSHA.

The CHASE program was created to push the boundaries of jobsite safety by recognizing contractors who don’t just meet industry standards, THEY SET THEM. With a tiered system of Red, White, and Blue, Blue Level status represents the highest standard of safety performance, systems, and culture.

In 2023, only 21 contractors statewide earned this elite status. To qualify, contractors must:

  • Maintain injury and illness rates at least 10% better than national construction averages
  • Ensure 100% of field supervisors hold OSHA 30-hour certifications
  • Complete dual inspections—one by AGC Colorado, one by OSHA
  • Have no serious, repeat, or fatality-related OSHA violations within the past three years

Our Colorado Division earned this recognition by:

  • Maintaining an effective, proactive safety and health program that goes beyond OSHA compliance
  • Prioritizing hazard mitigation and hands-on workforce engagement
  • Investing in training, audits, and leadership accountability at every level

This isn’t just a milestone. It’s a reflection of how we operate—on every job, every day.

“We don’t hit milestones like this by accident. It takes grit, ownership, and a crew that’s all in—day in and day out. CHASE Blue isn’t just a badge for us. It’s proof that our people take safety seriously, look out for each other, and do things the right way,” – Austin Blevins, Colorado Division Manager

For our people, it means going home safe—and knowing their crew has their back. For our clients, it means fewer surprises, less risk, and a team that builds it right the first time.

At Crossland, safety isn’t a box we check. It’s how we build—with purpose, with pride, and with each other in mind.
