Celebrating Community Impact

January 27, 2026 | 5 minute read

Crossland Cares: A Year of Community Impact and Giving Back

Four women wearing white construction helmets stand together on a construction site, holding ribbons. Two construction workers and a city skyline are visible in the background under a clear blue sky.

At Crossland, building is what we do, but community is why we do it.

What we build is only part of the story. What it makes possible is what matters most. Strong schools. Safer communities. Thriving downtowns. Places for families to gather. Moments that remind people they are not alone.

That belief goes back to the foundation our company was built on: faith, family, grit, and responsibility. Our founder did not just build projects. He built relationships. He believed in doing things the right way, taking care of people, and stepping up when your community needs you.

That is what Crossland Cares is all about.

As we reflect on the past year, we are proud of the many ways our employees showed up in the office, in the field, and across the communities we call home.

Why Community and Giving Back Matter to Crossland

A group of seven people, some wearing cowboy hats, stand on a stage holding an oversized $25,000 check from Crossland Construction Company, dated August 14, 2025. A banner and microphone stand are visible in the background.

Crossland was built on the belief that success means more when it is shared.

Our roots are in the towns and cities where we work. Places where neighbors still notice when you lend a hand, where schools and local nonprofits are held together by volunteer hours, and where showing up matters.

Community involvement is not something we do for attention. It is something we do because it is part of who we are.

We believe:

  • Hard work should leave a positive mark
  • Strong communities build strong companies
  • Giving back is not extra. It is essential
  • We do not just build projects. We build trust and relationships

Crossland Cares is one of the ways we live out those values in a real way.

A Year of Community Efforts: Crossland Cares Highlights

This past year, Crossland employees across divisions and regions supported a wide variety of causes, from education and youth programs to public safety, hunger relief, disability inclusion, and family support.

Here are a few of the ways we made an impact together.

Supporting Local Causes Through Year-Round Giving

Through initiatives like Casual Fridays, employees donated consistently to organizations making a difference close to home. These efforts supported foster care resources, adaptive opportunities, youth-focused nonprofits, women’s health causes, and community support organizations.

Food Security & Community Care

Several teams supported food pantry needs and food bank efforts, including a Tulsa volunteer event where employees packed 2,420 pounds of food. That provided the equivalent of approximately 1,200 meals for families.

Helping Families in Practical Ways

Our teams stepped in with hands-on support, including donating time and materials to build a ramp for a family in need and replacing a damaged door soon after. It is a reminder that sometimes the biggest impact comes from meeting an immediate need with care and action.

Creating Joy and Support for Kids

Through holiday giving and partnerships with community and mentorship organizations, Crossland teams helped families feel supported and remembered during meaningful seasons.

Two men stand indoors next to a small decorated Christmas tree. One is holding a check. Both are smiling at the camera. The wall behind them is beige with a framed photo and papers on a bulletin board.

Partnering with Schools & Student Programs

Many divisions showed up for students and educators through teacher appreciation efforts, student Signing Day events, school promotions, booster sponsorships, and community school activities.

Crossland Culture Events that Give Back

From tournaments and cook-offs to community picnics and fundraising events, employees built relationships internally while supporting causes externally. Events like Crossland Country Limits a tradition we started this past year to raise money for a local cause.

Showing Up with Equipment, Expertise & Encouragement

Sometimes giving back looks like service. Sometimes it looks like inspiration. From Touch-a-Truck events to Make-A-Wish moments, Crossland teams encouraged kids who see construction as something exciting and possible.

The list is long because when you have a company full of people who care, community impact becomes a year-round habit, not a one-time effort.

Looking Ahead: 2026 Community-Driven Initiatives

As we move into 2026, Crossland Cares is focused on deepening our community investment, not just by doing more, but by doing it with intention and follow-through.

Our focus areas include:

1. Supporting Underserved Communities Through Infrastructure and Practical Needs

We plan to increase support for initiatives that improve day-to-day life, especially in rural or underserved communities. This may include:

  • Accessibility improvements such as ramps, repairs, and safety upgrades
  • Facility improvements for nonprofits or youth programs
  • Partnering with municipalities or local groups on community-forward projects

2. Scholarships, Internships, and Apprenticeship Pathways

The construction industry is full of opportunity, and we want to help more young people access it.

In 2026, we will continue building momentum around:

  • High school intern programs
  • Workforce development and skills training
  • Trade education initiatives
  • Student mentorship connections

3. Environmental and Conservation Partnerships

We believe in leaving communities better than we found them, including the land and resources around us.

We will look for opportunities to support:

  • Conservation and cleanup events
  • Park, trail, and outdoor improvements
  • Community beautification projects
  • Sustainable partnerships aligned with our values

4. Strengthening Local Partnerships

The greatest impact often comes through consistent relationships. We plan to expand collaboration with:

  • Schools and school districts
  • Local nonprofits
  • Chambers and city organizations
  • Youth mentorship groups
  • Public safety and community programs

How Employees and Partners Can Get Involved

Community impact does not happen because of a single program. It happens because people show up.

Here are a few ways to be part of Crossland Cares in 2026.

For Employees

  • Volunteer as a team at local events
  • Nominate organizations in your community that could use support
  • Organize a small giving initiative within your division
  • Invite Crossland Cares to events where our time, presence, or resources could help

For Partners

We value working alongside:

  • Owners and clients
  • Trade partners
  • Vendors
  • Community organizations

If you have a volunteer opportunity or a cause you care about, we would love to hear about it. Let’s find ways to serve together.

Thank You.

To every employee who volunteered, donated, organized, participated, sponsored, served, and cared, thank you.

You are the reason Crossland Cares continues to grow.

And to the communities we have the honor to work in, thank you for trusting us.

Here is to another year of Building So Much More. Projects. Communities. Lasting Relationships.
