Crossland builds a wide range of manufacturing and industrial facilities, including new manufacturing plants, facility expansions, active-facility renovations, warehouses and distribution centers, equipment and service facilities, and supporting site and utility infrastructure. Our experience includes projects for manufacturers with complex production equipment, specialized building systems, heavy structural requirements, and demanding operational schedules.
What makes Crossland different from other manufacturing construction companies?
Crossland brings more of the work under one team. Our self-perform capabilities include concrete, steel, earthwork, site utilities, carpentry, and hoisting, supported by our own extensive equipment fleet. Through the Crossland family of companies, we can also provide additional civil infrastructure, precast concrete, rebar, and development capabilities. That means fewer handoffs, greater accountability, and more control over schedule, quality, and cost.
Can Crossland build or expand a facility while manufacturing operations remain active?
Yes. Crossland has experience completing expansions and renovations within active manufacturing environments. We work closely with owners to develop construction phasing, site logistics, safety plans, shutdown schedules, and temporary access strategies that help minimize disruption to employees and ongoing production.
How does Crossland coordinate construction with equipment installation and production schedules?
We plan construction around the operational requirements of the facility, not just the building schedule. Our teams coordinate equipment foundations, utilities, power requirements, structural clearances, access, crane and rigging needs, specialty vendors, and equipment delivery dates early in the process. The goal is to have the facility ready when your equipment is ready—so installation, commissioning, and production startup can stay on track.
