Constructing a Medicine School Unlike any Other.
Located near the renowned Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine in Bentonville reimagines what a modern medical campus can be. Spanning 154,000 square feet across 14 acres, the facility was designed to inspire learning while showcasing innovative architecture and advanced construction.
A cascading green roof blends the building into its natural surroundings while supporting the school’s sustainability goals. The structure also features an 87-foot cantilever, multi-story trusses, and a complex curtain wall system that required precision engineering and coordination.
Using BIM from the start, the team successfully integrated the building’s many sophisticated systems, delivering a state-of-the-art facility built to support the next generation of medical education.
