MOmentum Bike Park Opens in Joplin: New 95-Acre Destination Built by Crossland Civil Division

Outdoor recreation in Joplin just leveled up. The new MOmentum Bike Park is officially open, giving riders of all ages a place to explore, push their limits, and experience one of the most exciting municipal bike parks in the region.

For Crossland Construction’s Civil Division, this project wasn’t just another job — it was a chance to build something the whole community gets to use and be proud of. A place for families, athletes, and visitors to gather for years to come.

A New Destination for Riders Across the Region

Stretching across a 95-acre site, MOmentum delivers more than 132,000 square feet of dedicated bike park features, from a children’s bicycle playground to miles of purpose-built mountain bike trails. The park also includes bridges, skills features, and a full BMX-style pump track designed to help new and experienced riders build confidence before heading into more technical terrain.

With 10 miles of trails, a wide mix of difficulty levels, and room for future expansion, MOmentum immediately becomes one of Missouri’s premier cycling destinations and the largest municipal facility of its kind in the state.

City leaders are already planning ahead in time for nicer weather. They recently announced a Grand Launch Party on May 2, 2026 and an annual bike festival each fall that will bring professional riders, demonstrations, and family-friendly entertainment to Joplin.

Built for Community, Built for the Long Haul

Crossland’s Civil Division served as the general contractor on this high-impact project, partnering closely with SWT Designs, the International Mountain Biking Association, and American Ramp Company.
