Game-Changing Upgrade: Tulsa Memorial High School Tennis Complex Renovation
Tulsa, OK
Crossland partnered with Tulsa Public Schools to breathe new life into a long-overlooked part of campus—renovating the aging, unused tennis complex at Tulsa Memorial High School. In just six months, the site transformed from cracked, outdated courts into a bold, modern facility students and spectators can be proud of.
The project included construction of three new post-tensioned concrete tennis courts with a vivid blue acrylic surface and light grey play zones. Additional upgrades included bleacher seating under fabric canopies, new sidewalks, perimeter fencing, LED lighting, and a full mill and overlay of the adjacent asphalt parking lot. The complex fits neatly into a tight site next to LaFortune Golf Course—delivering a functional and photo-worthy upgrade without disrupting surrounding recreation.
Clean Lines, Community Pride
The new tennis complex makes a bold visual statement, with “MEMORIAL | CHARGERS” stenciled in white across the courts—visible even from drone footage. Designed with spectators in mind, the layout includes three-row aluminum bleachers shaded by tension-fabric canopies for comfort during matches. A 10-foot black chain-link fence with full windscreens adds both privacy and polish, while LED lighting in each corner ensures safe, well-lit play into the evening hours.
Going Beyond the Court
While the transformation was a victory, the Crossland team went a step further. Even after project completion, team members returned throughout the fall to clear leaves off the new courts—protecting the surface from staining and preserving the facility for years to come. That kind of follow-through demonstrates Crossland’s commitment to long-term quality and partnership.
