Tulsa, OK

Crossland Heavy undertook a significant rehabilitation of the City of Tulsa’s main dewatering facility for all wastewater in the southern area of Tulsa, originally built in 1993. The main portion of this project included a total system redesign and completely redoing all the facility’s processes with new equipment. For example, we installed a new polymer system, feed pumps, mixing system, conveyors, bulk storage tanks, piping configuration, controls for the presses, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and trenches. Additionally, we constructed a small commercial building to house office suites, a conference area, kitchen, bathroom, and locker room.

Nearing project completion, we received a report from the City that the production of solids was already up 25% directly due to the work we had done so far on the facility’s rehabilitation. This measurable improvement to their processes and the efficiency gains the facility is seeing make the work that went into overcoming the challenges and scheduling issues worthwhile.
