Shiloh Indoor Football Facility: Creating Space for Athletic Excellence in Springdale

When the Shiloh Saints needed a new indoor practice space that would serve multiple athletic programs, Crossland stepped up to deliver a versatile facility that became much more than originally planned. The 51,100 SF indoor football facility in Springdale stands as a testament to collaborative construction and flexible project management.


What began as a straightforward indoor practice space evolved through community involvement and strategic partnerships. A significant donation combined with the generous donation of a metal building and turf work services helped transform the vision into reality. Despite initial budget constraints that threatened the inclusion of a second-floor mezzanine, our team worked closely with stakeholders to secure additional funding that allowed for its restoration to the project scope mid-construction.


The completed facility features astro-turf playing surface spanning half a football field, complemented by locker rooms, a dedicated wrestling area, and coaches’ offices. The exterior showcases a metal building design with veneer corners, while the interior provides athletes with state-of-the-art training amenities including a weight room.


Our self-perform crews handled concrete work, both rough and finish carpentry, and doors and accessories installation. When quality challenges arose with subcontractor work on the metal building and turf, our steel quality manager provided crucial oversight to maintain Crossland’s exacting standards.


The project’s success extended beyond its completion, strengthening relationships with both the client and the design firm. Most importantly, the facility was finished on schedule before football season began, delivering a valuable training resource that serves multiple athletic programs at Shiloh.
