Sanger Core and Shell Development
Shell Building Completed as Part of a Development in Sanger, TX
Sanger, TX
Crossland Construction completed a $15.5 million, 291,000-square-foot shell building for Crossmar Investments in Sanger, Texas. This large-scale industrial facility was designed as a core and shell structure, allowing for future tenant customization.
Project Overview
The exterior of the building features painted and textured surfaces with a glass storefront, providing a clean and modern look. With no interior finish-out, the space was left open for future modifications to suit tenant needs.
Crossland also worked closely with utility companies throughout the project to ensure steady progress and timely coordination, keeping everything on schedule.
Challenges & Solutions
During construction, a strong windstorm hit the site, knocking over half of the building’s steel structure. Despite this setback, Crossland quickly reordered and re-erected the steel, staying on track without significant delays.
Laying the Foundation for Future Development
This building marks the first project on a larger development site, where Crossland will continue work on future projects. Successfully completing this facility set the stage for long-term growth and demonstrated our ability to overcome challenges and deliver on schedule.
