Reasor’s Supermarket Opens in Broken Arrow

The new Reasor’s supermarket in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is more than just a place to pick up groceries – it’s a modern community hub. At 64,000 SF and valued at $13.2 million, this full-service location includes standout features like a drive-thru pharmacy, in-store bar, bakery, butcher shop, and deli. It also incorporates unique community-friendly amenities, including a covered outdoor playground and an event-ready grilling patio.

Architecturally, the building showcases a mix of painted precast steel, stonework, and EFIS finishes. Inside, the store makes an immediate impression with 45,000 SF of polished concrete flooring, floor-to-deck ceilings, and bold, inviting colors throughout.

The polished floor was one of the project’s most complex elements. Coordinating the installation and finish required meticulous scheduling around other trades. When initial results didn’t meet expectations, a Walmart consultant was brought in to advise. The team followed his recommendations, resulting in a floor finish that exceeded the owner’s standards.

Additional challenges included delays caused by a steel supplier and an extended period of severe winter weather. Despite these setbacks, the project was delivered ahead of schedule – making it both the largest and fastest build in Brookshire’s company history.
