Norman Line Maintenance
City Enhances Water Utility Services Through Upgraded Facility
Norman, OK
The City of Norman, Oklahoma invested nearly $9 million to upgrade and expand its public works facility, creating a centralized hub for key city services. The new complex now houses Water Line Maintenance, Sewer Line Maintenance, Meter Services, and administrative offices – providing a modern, efficient space for public service operations.
Designed to support long-term growth, the facility includes indoor storage for equipment, dedicated training rooms, public and staff restrooms, and updated office space. The city cited improved functionality and increased operational efficiency as major benefits of the new layout.
Exterior upgrades feature metal buildings, asphalt and gravel parking lots, secure outdoor storage areas, and new landscaping. Interior finishes include sealed concrete floors, traditional office finishes, and LVT flooring—an added touch fully covered by the contractor.
Crossland partnered closely with the City of Norman to navigate evolving project guidelines and unexpected changes. A site camera was installed to allow stakeholders to monitor construction progress in real-time, promoting transparency and engagement throughout the project.
