Monument Warehouse
Built to Perform in a Demanding Climate
Monument, CO
The Monument Industrial Warehouse stands as a testament to efficient construction execution in Colorado’s challenging climate. This 136,000 SF spec warehouse project demonstrates how experienced teams can deliver substantial industrial facilities while navigating unique site conditions.
The building features tilt-up concrete panels forming the exterior walls, complemented by strategically placed canopies. Inside, polished concrete floors create the durable foundation needed for warehouse operations. A TPO roofing system caps the structure, providing reliable weather protection for decades of use.
Site conditions presented the project’s most significant challenge. An existing well on the property required careful coordination with state regulatory agencies. Our team worked closely with environmental specialists to address all compliance requirements while maintaining the construction schedule.
Monument’s notorious wind conditions tested our planning and execution capabilities. The high plains location experiences sustained winds that can halt crane operations and tilt-up panel installation. We built flexibility into our schedule, adjusting panel picks based on real-time weather conditions to maintain safety standards without compromising the timeline. Despite these environmental challenges, the project finished on schedule in December 2024.
Today, the completed warehouse serves as a visible landmark along Highway 925, its substantial profile marking Monument’s continued industrial growth. The building’s strategic location and quality construction position it to serve the region’s logistics and distribution needs for years to come.
