The Florida Hyatt Place is a 64,000 square foot facility with a final contract value of $12.6 million. Through Construction Management delivery, the project scope included sitework, auger cast foundations, post tension concrete, concrete masonry unit block exterior walls, and finishes for this 84 room hotel, complete with fitness center, meeting areas, and a pool. Exterior finishes include a direct-applied stucco; interior finishes include custom wood wall panels with an abundance of solid surfaces. Prepared for Florida weather, the structure is designed according to 2014 Florida Building Code and able to withstand 150 mph winds. Additionally, all windows are able to withstand missile impact. Crossland crews delivered the hospitality project ahead of schedule and on budget.
