Crossland Construction: Climbing the Ranks of the Industry’s Leading Contractors in ENR’s Top Lists

October 21, 2024 | 3 minute read

Crossland Construction continues to be recognized for its performance in the construction industry, appearing in several key rankings by Engineering News-Record (ENR) Magazine. These rankings highlight our growth, strategic focus, and dedication to sustainability across multiple sectors of the construction industry.

ENR Top 400 Contractors: #55 and Rising

Crossland ranked #55 on the ENR Top 400 Contractors list, a remarkable achievement that reflects our strong project portfolio and consistent revenue growth. Our strategic vision for the future includes breaking into the Top 50 by 2027, aligning with our 50th anniversary. Why is this important? The Top 50 Contractors represent the industry’s most sustainable and resilient companies. We are committed to maintaining high standards of work, broadening our services, and integrating innovation throughout our divisions.

Crossland Construction has completed some incredible community projects, including the Canyons multi-family housing in Colorado, Wheatfield Village Apartments in Topeka, KS, the Cornell Arts Complex in Joplin, MO, the Norman Development Center in Norman, OK, Big Shots in Aggieland, TX, the Saint Francis Cancer Center in Tulsa, OK, the Springfield Sports Complex in Springfield, MO, Princeton Park in Princeton, TX, Kenny Deel Stadium for Melissa, TX ISD, and the GRDA Administration Center in Tulsa, OK, just to name a few.

ENR Texas & Louisiana: #4 in Top Contractors

In the ENR Texas & Louisiana Top Contractors list, Crossland ranks #4, further solidifying our influence and expertise in this competitive region. The Texas and Louisiana construction markets are pivotal for our growth. Being recognized among the top contractors not only reflects the quality of our work, but also our strength in client relationships.

A few standout projects last year for our Texas division were the Celina Fire #3 in Celina, TX, Frisco Career and Technical Education for Frisco, TX Independent School District, Melissa Public Safety, Melissa, TX, and the Knauf Insulation Facility in McGregor, Texas.

ENR Top 200 Environmental Firms: Crossland Heavy Contractors Ranks #92

Our sister company, Crossland Heavy Contractors, achieved a significant leap in the ENR Top 200 Environmental Firms list, climbing to #92 from last year’s #100. This progress is a testament to our expertise in environmental construction and infrastructure, where we focus on water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. As the demand for environmentally responsible construction grows, we aim to lead the way in innovative approaches and sustainable practices.

Crossland Heavy Contractors completed several significant environmental projects last year including the Hochatown Offsite Improvements in McCurtain County, OK, the Topeka Water Treatment Plant West Plant Basin Rehab in Topeka, KS, the AB Jewell Clarifier No. 3 upgrade in Tulsa, OK, Jenks Wastewater Treatment Plant in Jenks, OK, and the Kaw Water Treatment Plant in Lawrence, KS.

Our Path Forward: We’re committed to creating a sustainable company for our clients and our employees

As we look ahead, our goal remains clear: continued growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and excellence. Whether it’s aiming for the Top 50 in ENR’s national rankings, advancing Crossland Heavy’s environmental impact, or strengthening our presence in the Texas and Louisiana markets, we’re committed to building so much more than just structures. We’re building a lasting legacy within the communities we live, work, and play.
