Built with Precision: Bank 7’s New Tulsa Branch
Tulsa, OK
Bank 7’s new Tulsa branch called for more than a functional place to conduct business. The design paired a sleek, fully paneled exterior with a highly detailed interior, requiring careful coordination at nearly every stage of construction.
Crossland delivered the 7,825-square-foot financial facility at 4003 E. 51st Street in Tulsa. The project was completed on time and under its original contract amount, giving Bank 7 a distinctive new location while respecting the client’s budget.
Precision began below the building. The project team used 256 aggregate piers instead of traditional piers extending to bedrock. This foundation approach reduced costs and allowed the work to be completed in approximately five days, helping the team move into the next phase of construction sooner.
That same attention to detail continued across the exterior. Aluminum composite material, commonly known as ACM, covers the building’s full exterior. Because each panel needed to fit the completed structure accurately, the team used 3D scanning to verify field dimensions before installation. The technology helped the project team coordinate fabrication, reduce the risk of fitment issues and achieve the clean exterior lines envisioned for the branch.
Inside, the branch features an elevated mix of materials within a compact footprint. Glass office partitions create visual openness, while walnut-finished timber panels, tambour wall details, designer wallcoverings, specialized tile and Italian finishes bring warmth and character to the space. Careful coordination of the glass storefront, wall systems and finish dimensions helped the team maintain the design intent as the work progressed.
Crossland worked with the project partners to identify cost-saving alternatives without taking away from the finished design. Revisions to the wood wall panels saved approximately $100,000, and an alternate countertop solution saved another $25,000. Together, these cost savings allowed the bank to finish below the original contract amount.
Crossland self-performed the building and interior concrete, helping the team maintain direct oversight of quality, sequencing and field coordination. Throughout construction, the team also managed material deliveries, structural steel, storefront approvals and trade performance while continuing to prioritize safe work practices.
Through Crossland’s Neighborhood Gifts Program, the project team also thanked a neighboring dermatology office for its patience and cooperation during construction.
Today, Bank 7 has a modern Tulsa branch defined by precise execution, durable materials and a thoughtful balance of function and design.
