When Complexity Meets Relentless Follow-Through

Aurora, CO

When BMC Investments envisioned a new multi-family residential community in Aurora, Colorado, they needed a construction partner who could navigate complex financial structures while delivering quality results. The Copperleaf Apartments project presented unique challenges that required both technical expertise and unwavering dedication from our team.

This expansive 443,084 SF apartment complex demanded careful coordination across multiple phases and payment structures. What set this project apart was its three different payout arrangements, creating accounting complexities that required meticulous planning and execution. Our team quickly recognized that success would depend not just on construction expertise, but on financial precision and adaptability.

The final four months of construction became a testament to our team’s commitment. Our crew faced an accelerated timeline that pushed the completion date to August 20, 2025. Rather than compromise quality, the team embraced the challenge head-on.

We stepped up during this critical period, working seven days a week and extending into evening hours when necessary. This wasn’t just about meeting deadlines – it was about honoring our commitment to BMC Investments and future residents who would call Copperleaf home.

The project’s complexity extended beyond scheduling. Managing multiple payout structures while maintaining budget control required constant communication and innovative problem-solving. Our team developed streamlined processes that kept all stakeholders informed while ensuring every dollar was properly tracked and allocated.

Working alongside KTGY Architects + Planning, we transformed architectural vision into reality. The collaboration between our construction team and the design professionals created a seamless workflow that addressed challenges before they became problems. This partnership proved essential during the final push to completion.

The moment our team submitted for the final certificate of occupancy marked more than just project completion – it represented over 3.5 years of dedication, problem-solving, and teamwork. For team members who had been with the project from day one, seeing the finished apartments filled with new residents was the ultimate reward.
