Nathan Hale High School Entrance Renovation Enhances Curb Appeal in Tulsa, OK
Tulsa, OK
Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma, underwent a significant renovation to its front entrance ahead of the 2024-25 school year. This $1.3 million, 11,250-square-foot project revitalized the 50+ year-old school’s exterior and entryway, creating a more welcoming and modern appearance for students, staff, and visitors.
Key improvements include the addition of a large steel canopy at the main entrance, featuring contemporary metal panels and illuminated signage that enhances visibility and school pride. The project also introduced new illuminated monument signage and an LCD screen, providing dynamic communication and a fresh look for the campus. The roof parapet was upgraded with additional illuminated signage and metal panels, and a new flagpole was installed to further highlight the school’s identity.
Inside, the renovation included new walk-off carpet and storefront finishes, contributing to a clean and inviting entry experience. Throughout the project, several redesign changes impacted material lead times, but the Crossland team remained agile, making necessary adjustments to ensure the renovation was completed in time for the start of the fall 2024 semester.
