SEK Impact Center: Multi-Use Event and Medical Facility Enhances Chanute, KS Community
Chanute, KS
The SEK Impact Center in Chanute, Kansas, is a versatile new facility designed to serve both healthcare and community event needs. Crossland Construction began the project by demolishing the original building on site, making way for a modern, purpose-built structure. This $6.1 million, 9,000-square-foot facility features a flexible event center that can function as one large conference space or be divided into three separate rooms, making it ideal for a variety of gatherings. In addition to the event space, the facility includes a dedicated medical office, providing essential healthcare services to the local community.
The conference area is filled with natural light from expansive exterior windows, creating an inviting atmosphere for events. Inside, the pre-function room impresses with its tall ceilings and skylights, while each event room is equipped with retractable screens, in-ceiling speakers, projectors, and advanced audio/visual capabilities. The SEK Impact Center addresses a significant need for modern event space in the Chanute area, and Crossland Construction is proud to have played a role in bringing this important community resource to life.
