COT 7th and 8th St Arterial Rehab
A portion of the Improve our Tulsa initiative, the 7th and 8th Street Arterial Project sought to improve a highly trafficked area of Downtown Tulsa by re-paving the streets, upgrading utilities and storm drainage, and constructing ADA- compliant sidewalks, ramps, and driveways. The majority of the work occurred on 7th street, as this street begins directly from the off-ramp of Highway 75 and is subsequently a highly trafficked access point to downtown.
Across both streets, the project scope included 7,246 square yards of asphalt paving, 7,541 square yards of concrete paving, 1,085 square yards of sidewalk, 2,721 linear feet of curb & gutter, 582 linear feet of storm drain piping, 1,406 linear feet of waterline, 12 manholes, 22 inlets & storm structures, and 304 driveways. The scope of this project is largely in Crossland Heavy’s wheelhouse, so we were able to self-perform 70% of the work, including all concrete paving, curb & gutter, sidewalks & ramps, storm drainage, and waterline installation. We called on the talented subcontractors in Tulsa’s construction community to complete asphalt paving, street striping, landscaping, and traffic control scopes of work.
