Super C Mart – Kingston
New grocery store has big impact on small town
On December 14, 2021, the owner of Super C Mart in Kingston, Oklahoma went live on Facebook to show off the beautiful new store right off Highway 70.
Shortly after the video began, the comments came pouring in.
“Kingston needed this.”
“Kingston is on the map now as the place to shop.”
“Big town store with small town charm.”
Those reactions and many others highlight the importance of community spaces, particularly local grocery stores, in small communities. Crossland was honored to help provide this one for the people of Kingston.
The 17,000 SF Super C Mart was built between April and December 2021. The $2.6 million store replaced the older facility and significantly increased the footprint of the sales floor.
From the moment customers enter the new store, they know they’re in for a treat. They walk through a unique barn door made from raw materials and see the rest of the interior made up of polished concrete, paint, wallpaper, and wood wall panels inside. Crossland coordinated with the grocer supplier for all food, equipment, the look, and even markings for the store.
This Super C Mart was the first stand-alone store the owner had built. Crossland worked closely with the owner early in the design stages and all the way through construction.
We are proud to help bring this store to the Kingston community. It’s expected to stimulate the local economy by improving the shopping experience and drawing visitors from surrounding communities.
