The expansive Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort hired Crossland to construct a five-building, 77-unit condominium, adding those properties to their current impressive portfolio of 1,300 across Florida. The much-anticipated Osprey Points offers two-, three-, and four-bedroom vacation rentals with mesmerizing views of Choctawhatchee Bay and nature preserves unique to the Florida landscape.

Each unit offers spacious and open floor plans with modern furnishings, full-size contemporary kitchens, walk-in showers, and large balconies with beach-inspired patio furniture. Construction also included a community center, spa, and heated, zero-entry outdoor swimming pool, exclusive to residents and seen from each unit.

With Florida’s vulnerability to hurricanes, the five buildings were post-tensioned concrete structures, rated for winds up to 150 mph. All exterior doors, windows, and materials also meet the 150 mph wind rating. The finish floor elevation was 6’ above sea level, and our crew continuously ran pumps until the completion of all underground utilities and foundations. All finish carpentry and appliance installs were self-performed by Crossland.

The construction of multiple buildings simultaneously can create site and time management challenges. Still, our team rose to the occasion, working six days per week for 16 months to complete the schedule following the shut down from Covid-19.
