Modern Banking Facility for Mid Missouri Bank
Webb City, MO
Mid Missouri Bank in Webb City, Missouri, recently opened the doors to its new, modern facility. Crossland was selected to demolish the existing structure and construct a brand-new 5,000 SF building. Valued at $3 million, the project focused on improving customer experience through updated design and upgraded functionality.
The new space now includes a dedicated area for the bank’s in-house insurance agent, allowing for expanded services and a more personalized experience for customers.
Architectural highlights include a large glass storefront wrapping around three sides of the building, bringing in natural light and enhancing visibility. Where glass was not used, the exterior features PAC-CLAD metal panels and horizontal wall panels for a sleek, contemporary look. Powder-coated aluminum columns add an eye-catching element to the building’s exterior, while a wood-grain metal longboard was used for the soffit to provide warmth and contrast.
Inside, large glass walls and doors define each office space, reinforcing the building’s modern and transparent feel. A wood-grain metal ceiling and stone veneer wall in the vestibule add texture and character to the interior design.
During construction, the team encountered unsuitable soil and a groundwater vein beneath the site, requiring an over-excavation of 8 feet. Shot rock was then used to bring the building pad back to grade. Despite these challenges, the team stayed on schedule, even self-performing portions of the final punch list to ensure the bank opened on time.
The project has already made a strong visual impact in the community, drawing praise from passersby and customers alike. The refreshed facility now serves as a welcoming, efficient hub for banking in Webb City.
