The Jenks WWTP in Jenks, OK was experiencing increased demands, and their treatment capacity could no longer keep up. Crossland Heavy Contractors constructed a new Headworks, electrical building, and UV structure and installed site piping, demo-ed an existing clarifier, and rehabilitated the aeration basin.
Throughout the project we faced multiple delays in equipment procurement. Instead of letting these delays derail our schedule, we adapted and mobilized temporary solutions to progress our schedule while we waited for the new equipment.
From a 1.8 MGD plant which hadn’t had a construction project in 20 years to a rehabilitated 10+ MGD facility, the Jenks WWTP is now ready and able to support their community as it grows far into the future.
