Infor Tenant Infill at The Smart Factory @ Wichita: Showcasing Next-Gen Manufacturing Innovation

We completed a high-tech tenant infill for global technology leader Infor inside The Smart Factory at Wichita, located on Wichita State University’s Innovation Campus. This 3,900-square-foot space is designed as an interactive showcase, allowing Infor customers and prospects to experience hands-on demonstrations of smart manufacturing solutions in a real-world environment.
As a founding sponsor of The Smart Factory, Infor uses this advanced workspace to foster partnerships with Deloitte, Siemens, and WSU, helping manufacturers explore the latest in AI, IoT, automation, and Industry 4.0 innovation. The project features a range of premium finishes and unique design elements, including bi-folding vertical doors by Renlita, imported metal ceiling panels, RGB LED lighting, and striking 3D tile features. A modern bar area with custom fixtures and high-end finishes, provided by Infor, adds to the space’s contemporary appeal.
Although there was a minor delay in receiving ceiling materials shipped internationally, the project team kept the project on track by closely coordinating with suppliers, adjusting the construction schedule, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders. Crossland was proud to support a space that’s playing an active role in advancing digital transformation across the manufacturing industry.
