Crossland Construction was awarded the $15 million contract to build the Bentonville Community Center, a space designed to meet the diverse needs of the community. By opting for a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) structure, Crossland saved the city $1.2 million, ensuring cost-effective construction without sacrificing quality or functionality.

Project Overview
The Bentonville Community Center consists of two structures conjoined by a single wall, featuring a standing seam metal roof and an exterior of brick, stone, and architectural metal panels. Designed to serve as a hub for recreation, education, and social events, the facility incorporates a wide variety of amenities.

Facility Features:
Aquatics Area: Enclosed structure built to handle high humidity, featuring:
A zero-depth entry family leisure pool with water slides, an adventure river, and play structures.

Three lap-swim lanes.
A 25 x 25 yard competitive pool with eight lanes and three diving boards, ideal for swim meets.

Sports and Fitness: Basketball court with a running track, cardio/resistance and free weight areas, aerobic/dance studio, and a versatile gymnasium for basketball, volleyball, tournaments, and more.

Educational and Social Spaces: Classrooms, a stage, arts and crafts areas, a library, and both open and private lounge areas.

Event Capabilities: A catering kitchen for weddings, meetings, and other community functions.
