When Premium Brands found themselves constrained by limited dock space and split operations across multiple locations, they turned to Crossland Construction for a solution. Other contractors had failed to meet the client’s budget while maintaining the required specifications, but Crossland’s innovative approach changed everything.
Rising 40 feet above the surrounding roadway in Springdale, Arkansas, this impressive tilt-wall structure serves as a regional hub for beer distribution throughout Northwest Arkansas. The facility consolidates Premium Brands’ operations from a small Fayetteville warehouse with just two dock doors and additional rented space in Lowell into a single, efficient distribution center featuring 14 operational docks with ample room for future growth.
The design-build project features 96,000 SF of warehouse space, 14,000 SF of office area, and a 6,000 SF cooler, complemented by an 8,000 SF pre-engineered metal building dedicated to keg loading and unloading operations. The structure’s textured, two-toned tilt walls create a distinctive exterior enhanced by canopies at entry points and metal panel accents at the front entrance.
Inside, visitors are greeted by an open front entry extending to the second floor, featuring a unique staircase with an eye-catching display case underneath. The warehouse incorporates innovative construction techniques, including fiberglass rebar in the slab that reduced costs while speeding installation time.
Crossland’s self-perform crews were instrumental in maintaining the aggressive schedule, handling concrete, steel, tilt wall, and pre-engineered metal building components. This approach proved particularly valuable when pouring tilt walls during winter months, as careful preparation and planning prevented weather-related delays.
The $17.6 million project began in July 2024 and was completed on schedule in July 2025, with Crossland delivering on their promise to create a facility that would support Premium Brands’ continued growth and operational efficiency for years to come.
