American Bank Opens Modern New Branch in Columbus, KS

American Bank in Columbus, Kansas, has a new home with the completion of a modern, 3,850-square-foot facility. This $1.8 million project replaced the bank’s previous building, which had served the community for over 50 years and was in need of an upgrade. Crossland Construction self-performed the earthwork, concrete, steel, rough carpentry, and finish carpentry, ensuring quality and craftsmanship throughout the build.

The new bank features a striking exterior with brick finishes, expansive windows, professional landscaping, a flagpole, and prominent signage. Inside, customers and staff enjoy beautiful quartz countertops and solid surface finishes, creating a welcoming and contemporary environment.
The project progressed smoothly, with only one change order required to address unsuitable soil conditions by shoring up the area with gabion rock. Crossland’s team took pride in delivering this project in their hometown of Columbus, contributing to the community with a facility that will serve local residents for years to come.
