South East Oklahoma Library System Central Services Building
Building a New Chapter for Southeast Oklahoma Library Systems
Crossland Construction completed a 5,500 SF administration office that now serves as the operational headquarters for Southeast Oklahoma Library System. The $2.18 million facility was designed to provide a highly functional and welcoming environment for library staff, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.
The building’s exterior features a pre-engineered metal structure accented by brick masonry and sleek metal panels – creating a professional and polished appearance that reflects the values of the public institution it serves. Inside, visitors and staff are welcomed by durable sealed concrete floors, an exposed brick interior wall, and an architectural wood-paneled entrance that adds warmth and sophistication to the space.
Crossland self-performed key trades including concrete, structural steel, and rough carpentry – ensuring quality control and schedule efficiency. When coordination issues arose between the metal panel system and structural components, our steel team worked overtime to resolve conflicts without compromising project milestones.
Delivered on time and within budget, the project solidified a strong partnership with both the client and design team and has already led to additional collaboration opportunities.
