Crossland Construction was awarded the $14.4 million contract for the American Electric Power Public Service Company of Oklahoma’s Tulsa Transmission Line and Service Center. The station serves the transmission division for all of Tulsa. A combination of four metal buildings, the main structure measures 100,000 square feet and is home to offices and garage space. Two identical, covered metal building parking structures also sit on the property. The building Owner can now service their utility trucks and store materials in a massive laydown space.
Exterior building features include a manufactured stone facade and metal panels, with a red storefront and bronze glazing; a curved, front canopy graces the entrance. Interior features include skylights that run the length of the building; a mechanical mezzanine can be found inside. Our Crossland crews self-performed earthwork, concrete, steel, and rough and finish carpentry.
