This project was a very unique build for Crossland Heavy Contractors. The scope of this project included demolition for both the Oread and Kasold Pump Stations, as well as installation or improvements of storage tanks and pump stations, all while keeping at least one pump station operational at all times. Due to the schedule needing to remain strict, a lot of specific planning had to take place to allow for proper isolation of tanks and pump stations during construction. Another challenge for this project was the removal and replacing of tanks in the same location with terrain change as well. This did not allow for much room to work. To navigate these challenges, Crossland Heavy worked closely with the city to relocate power lines and be sure that tanks were located in an appropriate place for the terrain. Every square inch of usable space was utilized. Despite the challenges of this project, Crossland Heavy delivered this project on time and within budget.
