Holland Hall Student Commons

Educational

Tulsa, Oklahoma

Brief Summary

Holland Hall is a 43,000 square foot student commons facility that includes a new wellness center, hydrotherapy rooms, locker rooms for men, women, girls, and boys, and athletic administration offices, a new kitchen and cafeteria, and new conference and alumni centers. The exterior features an extremely intricate brick pattern, brick columns, a bronze/glass storefront, metal panels, and exterior insulation finishing, and large steel trusses that extend from the interior to the exterior. The building’s interior showcases a vast amount of detailed woodwork, wood paneling, suspended wood ceilings, ceramic tile, interior brick, and high-end fixtures. A large, exterior cantilever balcony overlooks the football field and provides VIP seating.

With a jobsite located on an occupied campus, site logistics and safety were of utmost importance. Constant and transparent communication with the Owner helped us stay ahead of any issues. The schedule was also part of our acute focus. Because of the intricacy of the construction details, subcontractor coordination, submittals/samples management, and quality control played a huge part in the success of this project.
