The Hefner WTP Chemical Improvements job was a 14.3 million dollar project. It consisted of four new chemical storage buildings, remodeling part of the existing Ozone building, and restoring all existing Ammonia and Chlorine tie-in locations. The Chlorine Building, with a multi-level cast in place roof deck, houses two steel tanks each with a capacity of 12,000 gallons. The Ammonia Facility and the Chemical Storage Facility, each with a structural steel canopy, contain a total of nine chemical storage tanks. The Caustic Storage Facility holds the Wet and Dry Scrubber equipment. We demolished the existing Chlorine and Ammonia facilities as well.
