This $10.5 million, pre-cast structural steel sports complex in El Dorado, Kansas seats 4,500 field, track, and football fans. The press and sky boxes are two-level, both with restrooms. Snacks are available to patrons at the concessions stand. Artificial turf covers the football field.
Crossland Construction required site work, civil engineering, architectural design, and structural steel work, as well as mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other accessory scopes. Crossland teams self-performed structural steel and all building and site concrete.
The project was supported through donations and the combined fundraising efforts of the City of El Dorado, El Dorado Public Schools, and Butler County Community College.
