Water Treatment Plants
Crossland Heavy Contractors was awarded the $9.8 million Coweta Water Treatment Facility renovation project. The upgrades included floating intake, anion exchange, rapid mix, flocculation, sedimentation, and mixed media filtration systems. The new facility also has supervisory control and data acquisition systems, a laboratory, and a control room. Incorporated decant basins, mechanical dewatering, and mechanical evaporation systems, in conjunction with the other upgrades, will provide four million gallons per day of potable water to the residents of Coweta.
